WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Duration 2h30m
- Teeth will be isolated with blue barrier
- Whitening gel (37%) will be applied and activated by UV light
- Before and after, pictures will be taken for you

IN-HOME WHITENING – is done by the patient at home for 3
weeks until desired effect is achieved.

DISADVANTAAGES
- Lower % gel (22%) is used – less whitening effect

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
- 1st VISIT – molds of the teeth are taken and sent to the lab. Picture of the teeth is made for your reference. (Duration – 20 min).
- 2nd VISIT – clear plastic trays are delivered to the patient, polished, checked for good fit in the mouth. Whitening kit is given together with the written and oral instructions. Patient begins whitening procedure at home for next 3 weeks. (Duration – 20 min).
1. THERMAL HYPERSENSITIVITY to heat and cold after the procedure. The use
of toothpaste for sensitive teeth is recommended.
2. GUM IRRITATION.
If excess gel is applied to the gums they may become irritated and result in small
discomfort or an ulcer. It should heal within two weeks after the procedure.
While every effort is taken by the dental team to prevent it – please advise
immediately if you feel any itching or sensitivity during the procedure. If
doing in home whitening – stop the process, rinse the mouth thoroughly and
contact the dental office.
Please, note – not every patient is eligible for teeth whitening – it will be discussed with the dentist on your initial visit.
